Rainbow has the facilities, equipment and skilled technicians to carry out overhauling and fitting of various types of assemblies. In our overhauling section the following equipment is available to cater to customer requirements:

Additionally, Rainbow's fabrication facility can design and fabricate fixtures that ease complicated overhauling work at its overhauling facility.
The section also houses Rainbow's dynamic balancing capability, so rotors overhauled here are balanced in-house before dispatch. Machine 1 — with a maximum capacity of 450 kg, maximum diameter of 1100 mm and maximum length of 1500 mm — balances blowers, couplings, impellers, drive gears and all types of rigid rotors.
Machine 2 — with a weight range of 20 kg to 2000 kg, maximum diameter of 1800 mm and maximum length of 4000 mm — is ideal for more complex components such as crankshafts, multistage rotor assemblies and propeller drive shafts (with cross heads).
