Mud Motor Rotors
Stripping and re-applying the protective coating, restoring the lobe profile and repairing the rotary connections on positive-displacement motor rotors.

Industrial Sectors — 01 / Upstream, midstream & downstream
Nothing in industry is treated as harshly as a drill string. Abu Dhabi's push toward five million barrels a day keeps rigs, tubulars and wellhead equipment in near-continuous service, while sour (H₂S) reservoirs and high-pressure/high-temperature wells push metallurgy and thread integrity to their limits. Every joint that goes back in the hole has to be cut to a licensed thread form, gauged, documented and traceable.
How Rainbow supports it
Rainbow holds API monogram licences across five specifications that together cover the drill string and the wellhead — 5CT, 5B, 6A, 7-1 and 7-2. That means tubulars, rotary shouldered connections, drill-stem elements and wellhead parts can be threaded, gauged, repaired and certified inside one facility, alongside the machining, coating, plating and heat treatment the same components need.
Behind it
Our specialities
Stripping and re-applying the protective coating, restoring the lobe profile and repairing the rotary connections on positive-displacement motor rotors.
API and proprietary OEM connections cut, gauged and repaired as a licensed workshop — so the joint keeps its gas-tight metal-to-metal seal and its OEM standing.
Drilling-jar mandrels, housings and internals manufactured or reconditioned to customer drawings and specifications.
Repair and remanufacture of wellhead and christmas-tree equipment under our API 6A licence.
Machining of non-magnetic drill-string components where survey and MWD tooling cannot tolerate a magnetic signature.

Connection licences
A premium connection seals metal-to-metal, so its thread form is the mill's proprietary design and only a licensed, audited workshop may cut, repair or gauge it. Rainbow holds five API monogram licences and six OEM connection licences — see all of them, with licence numbers and validity.
