Gulf power and desalination plants run gas turbines on the worst air a compressor can be asked to swallow — hot, dusty and carrying salt off the coast. That combination drives compressor fouling, erosion and deposit-induced hot corrosion, while turbine blades and vanes in nickel-based superalloys work at temperatures approaching their metallurgical ceiling. Outage windows are fixed years in advance and do not move.

Coating sits next to heat treatment, electroplating, CNC grinding and dynamic balancing to 2,000 kg, so a rotor can be stripped, restored, re-coated, balanced and certified without leaving the site.
